PHOTO COLLECTIONS
- The Peter Garner Collection
He was 90 (y. o. a.) when he passed away, I was lucky enough to have known Peter for quite a long time.
He was born, lived & grew up on Bombay St. (just a few yards away from where I used to live) and always spoke with affection of his happy times living there before it was eventually all knocked down.
enjoy the memories.

I took these photographs as part of a college assignment while training to be a teacher at Clifton College. I guess the date most were taken was 1967. I expect too many years have passed for folks to recognise themselves in these pictures - but it would be great to hear from you if you do! I taught at Huntingdon Street school till around 1970. I remember the caretaker was Len Wing, the Head was Alan Richardson and the new Deputy Head was Ken Hopwood. The Year 6 teacher was Mick Vines. My class was the 8-9 year olds. I would love to hear from any ex-pupils who have memories of their time at Hunto. - David Coleman 2 March 2016
