I think that there is a need to clarify the schools, particularly for the newer members, because I too, get a bit confused at times when we talk about Morley School.
The old Board School (St. Ann's Well Rd. Infants & Junior school), closed down in 1966 and then moved up to the Wells Rd Site, (Morley).
It became the St. Ann's Infant and Junior school (5-11yr. olds) the Senior children 11+ in 1966 then moved up to the new Elliott Durham School.
Some Teachers from the old Board School must also have transferred up to the new site....hence some "older" members remembering MISS BROWN from the old Board school, like me... and some the "younger" members remember her from the new St. Ann's Junior School, called again....Morley, or possibly both.....Hope it makes it a bit clearer.
