Howitts Printers annual dance, Howitts was situated on Ashforth Street and employed mainly from St. Ann's area, this photo was probably the Finishing /Despatch department, Louis Martin a British weightlifting champion worked at Howitts for a few years, the photo dates from the late fifties and another from Peter Howarth. In 1901 they lived at 35 Westville Street Peas Hill Road St Emmanuel (St Ann's) Nottingham. Henrietta later lived at 48 Caroline Street Peas Hill Road. He was the husband of Lottie (née Rosssell) Tuckwood of 37 Ashforth Street Alfred Street St Ann's Nottingham.
