STORIES FROM RESIDENTS OF THIS STREET
One from Ann’s Family “Biscuit Tin” Ann’s late Grandmother Mrs. Henrietta Kavanagh ex number 50 Union Rd. pic taken in her back garden 1956 shortly before she passed away...sadly I never met her. She suffered with terrible arthritis in her latter years, so she used to wrap her hands up in an old woollen scarf to try & keep them warm....and avoid the pain. She had twin daughters Alma (Ann’s late Mother) & Blanche who had two daughters June & Sandra.
