BROMHEAD, ALBERT EDWARD

Age at death 23 Service number L/11303 Military Unit Royal Field Artillery Family History He was the son of Albert and Mary Hannah Bromhead and the brother of Hilda (1898-1900), Gladys (1902-1947), Eunice May (1904-1955), Ernest (1907-1969), Leslie (1910-1989), Hida (1914-2011) and Frank (1915-1918) Bromhead. In 1911, they lived at 29, Linden Street, Dame Agnes Street, St Ann's Nottingham. 'He served in France and was invalided home following a Mustard Gas attack. He continued to be nursed at home, but sadly never recovered his health and died in August 1920.' He is buried in Wilford Hill Cemetery.'
