This is a picture of Thomas Bow Lamartine Street. Thomas Bow were celebrating 150 years in business and were asking for pictures and information of their past. I sent this picture. The only information I have regarding it is that I think one of the men in the picture is my mothers brother Trevor Swain who I never met. If anybody has any more information I would be very interested.
Mam worked very hard at the Raleigh, I'm including a photo of what I believe to be 'back in the day' My Dad worked at Boots and later was a postman. When demolition came they were offered a joint position as caretaker and cleaner at Bentinck Court flats, Lenton and later transferred to Manvers Street flats, Sneinton..(Elaine Carter Fox)

In the 1960's the boss was a Mr Beverely Wright who also used to have a small shop at Bulwell market place, called Beverelys. The large factory at the rear was Raywarp on St Ann's Hill Road.
