Family History
He was the son of Joseph and Mary Harrison and the brother of Thomas, Alice, Beatrice and Harry Harrison. In 1911 they lived at 31 Lowdham Street and later 10 Pym Street (both St Ann's Nottingham). He was the husband of Mabel (née Henry) Harrison and the father of Joseph and Sidney Harrison. Mabel married Samuel Love in 1919 and they lived at 18 Guy's Terrace Blue Bell Hill St Ann's Nottingham.
Employment/Hobbies
He was a general fruiterer.

Date of death 09 Nov 1918 Age at death 21 Family History Leonard Dresher, known as Leon, was the only child of Adolph and Mary Jane Dresher (née Cook). His parents married at Nottingham and Leon’s birth was registered there (J/A/S/1897). His father died prior to the 1911 Census which recorded Leonard living with his widowed mother who was then a 34 year old dressmaker born at West Bridgford. The pair lived at 21 Guy’s Terrace Blue Bell Hill Nottingham Address given on enlistment 19 Ferris Street Nottingham Military Unit Royal Air Force Extra Information Death notice published 13th November 1918 in the Nottingham Evening Post : ‘DRESHER. – Died in military hospital, November 9th, Gnr. Leonard Dresher (Leon), R.G.A., the dearly loved and only son of Mary Saltinstall, Carisbrooke-terrace, aged 21. Over four years service in France.’ Remembered on |
